Our Super site in the Kulim Hi-Tech Park is looking for qualified professionals to the following positions:
Responsibilities:
Basic Job Functions:
1. Coordinate new equipment installation and implementation.
2. Write and maintain programs that use the plant equipment data within the SQL database.
3. Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment controls issue.
4. Act on abnormalities and resolve root causes.
5. Evaluates new proposed controls equipments are according to standards.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
1) Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment controls.
2) Responsible for communication between plant equipment and SQL database.
3) Interface with the Manufacturing Controls Engineering function.
4) Maintains effective communications levels and fosters team building.
5) Ensures adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
6) Interfaces with other Departments and Supplier Representatives.
7) Lead new minor projects – such as in a supporting role to other departments.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited programor or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Knowledge of machine control, networking and PLC’s including SLC500, Control Logix Platform, Micrologix, Siemens S7, and Omron CS1 Series.
• Knowledge of servo motors, robotics, motion control and HMI troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the following programming languages: PC control, Ladder, Function Block, SQL, VB6, PanelBuilder 32, RSView32.
• Knowledge of Controls Engineering techniques and practices.
• Excellent understanding of Electrical/Electronic systems.
• Excellent understanding of Computer Applications and the Microsoft Office family.
• Problem solving skills.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in MIS or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
